Breana

15 Years Old

Qualities: Loves a good conversation and enjoys being outside

Meet Breana …

Can I help?” Be prepared to answer “yes” to this question, because Breana loves to pitch in, both at school and around the house. This young lady is outgoing and friendly, and loves to engage others in conversation. She is also an active child who likes spending time outdoors, where she enjoys playing basketball, swimming, playing soccer and tending to horses. When she is not playing outside, she enjoys participating in 4-H and practicing the piano.

What Others Say about Breana …

Breana’s foster parents say she is a loving, helpful young lady. Breana’s teachers say she is a well-behaved child who gets along well with her classmates. She has a lot of academic potential, and can perform at a very high level when she applies herself to the task at hand.

What You Can Do for Breana …

You can provide structure, consistency and plenty of one-on-one attention for Breana. You can monitor her behavior and provide patient redirection when necessary. You can also encourage her as she seeks to establish positive, loving relationships with others. The ideal family would consist of two parents, or a single male parent, living in a rural community.

For those who submit an Inquiry Form expressing an interest in adopting a child listed in the Heart Gallery of Illinois, your form is submitted to the Adoption Inquiry Unit of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.  It is DCFS’s responsibility to get in touch with you as the next step if there is a match.  Let It Be Us is not a licensing agency or a child placing agency. Our function in the adoption process is to recruit foster and adoptive parents for the Illinois children who are waiting.

The first step in adoption from foster care is to obtain a foster care license. Visit our licensing map to find a licensing agency or an Illinois DCFS licensing office near your home.
