Meet Maggie (age 15) …

Maggie is a sweet, loving, imaginative young lady who craves love, attention, and understanding and she always has a smile on her face. She likes animals, drawing, coloring, being outdoors and cooking. Maggie does a great job doing her own laundry, however; she does not get too excited about doing chores. Maggie has expressed that she would like a home with a “mommy” and a “daddy.” She wants a family to love her and not give up on her. Maggie does very well with younger children in the home.

What Others Say About Maggie …

Maggie’s teachers absolutely adore her and say she is a big help in the classroom. Maggie interacts well with her peers and enjoys being a helper. Maggie struggles academically in some areas and will need educational supports.

What You Can Do For Maggie …

The type of family best needed to meet Maggie’s needs is a patient, understanding, and active family. A two-parent, or single female would be best. A parent with experience dealing with youth who have academic challenges, and knows how navigate the school system is a must. A family who understands trauma and can set clear, consistent, and realistic expectations would be a great fit for Maggie.
